THE LIGHT RETURNS TO MADRID
LuzMadrid, the International Festival of Light, returns to the streets and squares of Madrid on 27, 28 and 29 October 2023. During these three vibrant nights we’ll be able to enjoy art and light in some of our city’s most special places.
The works of more than twenty national and international artists will fill Madrid with light, allowing us to see the city in a different way. For this second edition, the festival is moving to new locations so that this constellation of light can surprise, delight and captivate the people of Madrid and visitors alike.
This year, the central theme of LuzMadrid will be movement and vibration, light as a creative impulse, the driving force behind dreams and illusions.
The installations and works of LuzMadrid 2023 will meet the criteria of energy efficiency and reduction of carbon dioxide consumption to certify that the festival is totally committed to sustainability. In its first edition, the festival received the A Greener Festival award in recognition of its good environmental practices.
