HOMENAJE AL TRIÁNGULO DE PREVENCIÓN (TRIBUTE TO THE WARNING TRIANGLE)
Octavi Serra
From 12 to 14 March
Façade of Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid

The façade of Círculo de Bellas Artes is hosting an installation created for the company Allianz by Catalan artist, designer and photographer Octavi Serra. 500 warning triangles which were exchanged for the warning beacons that became mandatory on 1 January have been used to form a large, gleaming pyramid. During the day, the structure’s fluorescent and reflective materials interact with natural light. At night, a system of synchronised spotlights enhances its geometry with pulses of light and fluctuating flashes, transforming the building into an urban beacon. Following LuzMadrid 2026, the triangles will be recycled into street furniture by a social cooperative, thereby completing this artistic exploration of road safety, sustainability and inclusion.
